Preben Hansen

Preben completed his carpentry apprenticeship in Denmark. He arrived in Australia in 1972 and was accepted as a Registered Builder. He has had over thirty years experience with all types of construction and also has a good knowledge of European construction methods. He recently supervised the building of a house that won the award for energy efficient home of the year.

Tim Drummond

Tim began his business career in Real Estate specializing in new developments from the sourcing of land through "off the plan" sales. Tim preferred to leave the Real Estate world to pursue his two major interests: First the position of affordable housing for Australian families. Second, to make a positive contribution to the environment, through building energy efficient housing. Tim has completed many courses in Greensmart building, and energy efficient construction. He was introduced to ICF's when he Owner Built his own house- he has been involved with energy efficient construction ever since.

Preben Hansen and Tim Drummond have been working together for over four years. They share a common mission, but with their different back-grounds they compliment one another to the ultimate benefit of the InsulBrick Building System. They have each built themselves houses with ICF's [Insulated Concrete Forms] which is testament to their belief in the construction method. |
