The foundations required for insulbrick construction are strip footings or a concrete slab.
Strip footings: If building on a strip footing insulbrick construction is used to raise the base to support the sub-floor. This can be especially beneficial when building on a sloping site.
Concrete slab: The insulbricks are laid directly onto the slab, which saves your Concreter providing a rebated base. |
