The structural integrity of the insulbrick building system is formed entirely by its concrete core. We recommend the use of 32 mpa concrete with aggregate no greater the 7mm. The slump required depends on the project, the stage of the project and which insulbrick you are using. Concrete can be hand-mixed on site or delivered by your local concrete supplier.
If the insulbricks are properly braced you can pour up to three metres at a time. |

While whole projects can be hand poured a concrete pump is less labour intensive. If using a concrete pump it is necessary to brace your walls. Specialised equipment is available for hire. |

This concrete pump has a "goose neck" fitting making it easier to direct the concrete into the wall cavity |
